It can be hard to see, in real time, just how much water is moving when a wave breaks. This video gives a hectic insight into the dynamics of a heavy shore-break, and shows just how insignificant the surfers are when they’re caught up in the force of a wave. Remember, these guys are having ‘fun’! Nicely shot too.
This is an awesome video. Ocean waves are gorgeous, as are surfers, but the way they are just getting clobbered terrifies me! I know they love it, but I’ll enjoy the waves from the shore. . Thanks for the post! :)
Amazing how they stay in control in such hectic waves (mostly). Makes my recent Gold Coast waves seem like ripples!
