Here’s a couple of bits and bobs I’ve found to kick off the new year. The following video I really like, not because of the quality of the surfing – it’s good, but not amazing – but because it captures the whole experience of adventuring out into the middle of nowhere to surf, and the theatre of the day.
And then this is just hilarious.

Ok, I don’t get it. How does encouraging local wildlife into your neighbourhood, to become, no doubt, roadkill, solve the problem of loud music from passing cars?
I believe the artist was entertaining the notion that a Hitchcock-style ‘Birds’ scenario would play out for those obnoxious enough to play music loudly while cruising with their windows down…
Ah! That would make sense :)
