The Responsibility of Research: The Dual Use Dilemma (opens in new window) was co-authored with Anna Perman for the Inside Knowledge project on PloS blogs.
When I Become You, We Can’t Be: A fictional short story, of romance through technology.
Your World is a Toxic, Black Hole: This is my retrospective take on my Honours research year, from 2007.
Are Our Idols Consuming Us?: Here, I discuss language and ideologies in the internet age.
Mate, you don’t know the half of it: The true story of an epic misadventure in the Australian wilderness.
The Scientist’s Dilemma: popular-style science writing about the importance of evidence.
Memento of Wollongong is an experiment with writing a true story backwards. Does it work?
And, of course, I write most days on this very blog!

Haunted by the ghosts of writers past.
