Touched

Last night I made the trek up to Brisbane to catch The Touch at the Troubadour. It was a good fun night, though we didn’t kick on particularly late. Of the three bands I saw I was impressed by aspects of all; the Fearless Vampire Killers put on some great catchy 60’s-style numbers, The Touch conjured a dancefloor out of nowhere (ending, in typically chaotic fashion, with an unnamed fan pulling a canvas from the wall and running around on stage with it), and the Villains of Wilhelm had some interesting and well-structured tunes.

After a ridiculously rich berry pancake brunch and some lazy TV viewing, I drove through the grey drizzle back to the Coast. I snuck out into the garden again for some more water drop macro pictures… I just can’t get enough!
Ooooh, shiny...

There’s an exciting week ahead… more (maybe?) OSCE’s on Wednesday, the chance of waves, but most importantly…
