Not a democratic republic, but it’s Congo

Congo. Jungle drums, tribal music, lush rainforest… or a tiny little town on NSW’s South Coast, with a sulfrous swampy estuary and a rocky headland. It doesn’t sound quite as exotic as its African counterpart, but it’s actually a beautiful spot when the sun comes out. Here’s a few evening snaps.
