Rugged Uplands

Our drive south to Bantry from Galway was stunning. I’ve seen so many variations of landscape in Australia, but the rocky highlands were a whole new experience. Narrow, winding roads curling around and through rock-strewn hillsides, with lakes filling the low valleys and forests clinging to existence in the sheltered sections.
