Monday Roulette

As usual, you asked for it! Some interesting ones today and Kostas has managed to continue his streak of picking boring photos from panoramas. This time, though, I’m going to be kind enough to include the relevant panorama results, so there’s two spectacular bonuses today!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

As for the promised panoramas; click here for the Chillagoe panorama (maybe my favourite yet) and here for the massive 50-shot Depot Beach panorama (bah, and I just spotted 2 flaws in it, bugger). One day I’ll actually print that Chillagoe one off for my wall I think!

Also as promised; here’s a list of ‘taken’ numbers: 1, 13, 42, 44, 275, 450, 666, 683, 976, 1066, 1112, 1661, 1953, 1954, 1987, 1991, 2062, 2233, 2467, 3029, 3062, 3444, 6691, 7175, 7272, 7777, 9002. Nothing much in the 4K-6K range, or 8K. Who will break that ground? Two entries each!

  2. Wow, the Chillagoe panorama is really spectacular. Panning around you get the feeling of being there. Thanks for posting the whole thing!

    I like ‘my’ panorama better.
You really got good light on the Chillagoe one though!

Here we go for another stich: 4986 and 123.

Those panoramas are stunning. How do you do that?

    #7777 and #8888 Please.

    • #7777 is already gone! With the panoramas, I basically just pan around the scene taking anywhere between 5 and 50 shots which overlap. Then in Photoshop I use an automated script which matches them up, tidy up any loose edges and process it like a normal photo!
