Photo Archaeology 1: We Will Become Silhouettes

I like this shot because it’s not immediately apparent what’s going on. Yes, there’s a couple of people, apparently caught in a reflection. Look closer, though, and they’re treading on a cityscape.

We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan

The colours are (mostly) natural – the effect is from the strange, gold-coated double glazing from the observation deck of a tall Melbourne building. It made photography tricky, so I just exploited the odd effect to pass the time.
