A Paper Smartphone?

Check out Treehugger‘s short analysis of the prospects for this technology. Quite cool! I honestly don’t think I’d want a phone like that, but something like a Kindle e-reader would be sweet – bend the ‘book’ to turn the page. And it’d be even thinner and lighter than current readers.

A big reason I doubt such a phone will replace current smartphones is that it would be very hard to play games on such a phone. If bending the device is required to activate it, you’d be distorting the visual surface, and it would need to be a mighty-durable material to cope with being thrashed about in a game.

Oh, and a photo. Why not?
